Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
01Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Account information — when you sign up, our authentication provider collects your name and email (and, if you choose, a linked Google account).
- Payment information — when you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing details. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited information such as your plan, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card.
- Business and record information — information you submit, attest to, or edit about a business you manage, and messages you send us.
Information we collect automatically.
- Technical and usage data — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, kept in server logs to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Cookies — see the Cookies section below.
Public business information.
A business record may be created from publicly available information (such as a business’s own website). These records describe businesses, not private individuals, and are intended to be public. If a record includes information a business owner wants corrected or removed, see Record removal & corrections.
02How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To create, verify, and publish business records;
- To authenticate you and secure your account;
- To process subscriptions and payments;
- To send you service-related messages (for example, verification codes and account or billing notices);
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
03How we share information
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:
- Authentication — manages sign-in and account credentials.
- Payments (Stripe) — processes subscriptions and payments.
- Email delivery — sends verification and account emails.
- Hosting and database — run our application and store data.
- AI processing — a large-language-model provider helps extract structured facts from public business websites; we do not send it your account credentials or payment details.
We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety, and property of Vizzibly or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required). Published business records are, by design, made available to the public and to search engines and AI assistants.
04Cookies
We use only strictly necessary (essential) cookies — the ones required for the Service to function. These include:
- Authentication/session cookies that keep you signed in and secure your session;
- A first-party cookie that remembers your selected plan during sign-up so checkout works;
- Cookies set by our payment processor during checkout to process payment securely.
We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we use only essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism where required by law. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but essential cookies are needed to sign in and subscribe.
05Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we cancel your subscriptions and remove or de-associate your personal account information; published business records may remain as public reference records unless removal is requested and appropriate.
06Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them.
- EU/UK (GDPR), where applicable: rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
To exercise any right, email support@vizzibly.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
07Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including handling sign-in and payments through established providers so that we never store your password or full card number. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
09International users
We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
